My wife passed me the apple, and I took a big old bite. We want out of the Garden State. After talking about leaving the Garden for many years, we are finally making some plans to find a place where we can have dandelions on the lawn and be proud. Even though we are members of the “Creative Class,” we some how ended up trapped in suburban sprawl. Both our muses have been tuckered out by the dismal day to day of trying to pay the bills and keep health insurance, so we don’t have to worry about bankruptcy if one of us gets ill. Boo-hoo right, we know people in the world have real problems. But maybe in 2012 this will all be resolved. So this is both a story of evolution and escape.

As we were trying to create a blog called escapenj on blogspot, we found your blog. You are not alone in this quest. We will be posting on goodbyenj.blogspot.com. As member of the "nonprofit" class - finding a real house in the region will be next to impossible. Longer commutes seem inevitable. Good luck.
